Introduction: Beaded Wrap Bracelet

This Instructable guides you done the steps to create a beaded wrap watchband. This project is an excerpt from my free introductory Jewelry Category! You're wanted to experimentation with your materials! The colors, shapes, and sizes are all matters of individualised gustation. Here is a list of the supplies utilized to make up the bangle shown throughout this project:

  • Round leather electric cord (1.8-2mm brown: Amazon | Rio Grande)
  • Silk bead cord size F (Amazon | Rio Grande)
  • Beading needle (Amazon | Rio Bravo)
  • Beads (round 6mm Amazonite (Amazon | Rio Grande), jade (Amazon | Rio Grande), etc.)
  • Tape or clipboard for securing propose

Leather cord and coordinating silk beading cord are available in a sweeping variety of colors, shapes, finishes, and sizes. Bead needles are especially protracted, spinnable, and have whacking eyes to easily fit the beading cord.

Beads can be successful from almost any material. This project uses round blue beads made from Amazonite stone, merely you're welcome to use beads in the material of your choice, whether it's stone, watch crystal, or something else entirely, like seed pods and (non-endangered) red coral pictured supra.

Step 1: Cut and Prepare Electric cord

Cut a piece of leather cord astir 30 inches (75cm), and fold it in half. At the midpoint, linkup an overhand knot to create a small loop and two tail coat. Secure the loop to your work rise with mag tape. You stern also exercise a clipboard to fixed the cord, or a piece of scrap wood and a nail.
